PROJECT INFORMATION

Agency / collaboration with OSK – Oliver Schrott Kommunikation.

Over the years, I have contributed to numerous vehicle reveals, international premieres and brand films across Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Maybach, smart and Freightliner. My work spans the full creative process—from initial concepts, character designs and stage visuals to storyboards, 3D animation and motion design for the final show. This selection offers a glimpse into that wider body of work.

For the VISION AVTR reveal, attended by James Cameron, I developed the visual style for an environment inspired by the world of Avatar. The challenge was to translate its distinctive colors, atmosphere and organic elements into an abstract visual language that felt immediately recognizable and worked at the scale of a live reveal. Alongside this look development, I created storyboards for the reveal film.

The F 015 intro film for CES 2015 represents one of my earliest contributions. Set in a backstage control room, the animated sequence featured robots discussing the apparent uselessness of humans. I designed the characters and environment and developed the storyboards. For Mercedes-Benz Solutions, I similarly combined storyboarding and look development with the design of a robot character, which was subsequently translated into a carefully crafted 3D model.

One of my first major live premieres was the Freightliner Inspiration Truck at Hoover Dam, where the dam itself became an immense projection surface. My motion design work had to account for its unusual proportions, projector coverage and shadows cast by the surrounding canyon. I joined the production on location in Las Vegas, gaining firsthand experience of translating animation into a monumental physical setting.

During my time at Oliver Schrott Kommunikation, I also art-directed and supported numerous productions in Beijing and Shanghai. Across these projects, visual storytelling and hands-on motion design were closely connected: developing the creative direction, bringing it to life through animation and adapting every detail to the demands of the screen, stage and live event.
